Title: Financial Reporting - Senior Accountant

Location: Spring, TX (Hybrid)

Type: Contract (2 years)

Our client is looking to add a Financial Reporting Accountant to their team!

Responsibilities:

• Support benefit plan audits, financial statement preparation, and Form 5500 filings.

• Aid in preparing annual consolidated financial statements and footnotes under US GAAP.

• Help prepare quarterly financial statements by gathering and analyzing data.

• Prepare quarterly Balance Sheet variance analysis and explain key fluctuations.

• Assist in coordinating the company’s annual external audit.

• Prepare schedules and required items for the annual external audit.

• Help implement new accounting policies and procedures.

• May assist in cash flow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Support management and department heads with monthly forecasts and reporting.

• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

• Assist with lease accounting and related software administration.

  Qualifications:

• Experience using Oracle (R12) and Hyperion HFM/Smartview preferred.

• Responsible individual who takes initiative and ownership of all areas of work.

• Deadline and results oriented.

• Compensation will depend on experience- $38-43/hr
