A growing oil and gas field services organization in West Houston an experienced Financial Analyst to join its team on a permanent basis.

The FP& A Analyst will be working under the direction of a Sr Finance Manager and will be responsible for both providing detailed analysis and reporting for the various ongoing projects the company has ongoing and will help to include creating and maintaining dashboards for senior management and budgeting/forecasting. In addition, the experienced Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing insight to the margins, revenue and project performance and support/lead assigned projects.

As the Financial Analyst, you would work closely with various internal parties to get the necessary information to be successful, so relationship building is a must.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst with a Oil & Gas related organization, a Degree in Accounting or Finance, have worked extensively with a reporting software like Power BI, Cognos and or Hyperion HFM and have advanced MS Excel experience. An MBA is a plus!

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience desired

• BA/BS degree in Finance or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. PowerBI/Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Financial analysis & planning (go-to-market experience preferable)
