Description

We are offering a contract to possible permanent position for a Financial Analyst position within the homebuilding industry located in the Houston Galleria area. This role is integral to our client's team, with responsibilities covering processing and maintaining financial reports, assisting with forecasting and budgeting, and handling various financial analysis tasks. Homebuilding industry and Newstart software experience strongly preferred! APPLY TODAY to be considered for this immediate opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and maintain various financial reports for internal and external use

• Assist in the preparation of periodic reports such as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting processes by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

• Support the creation and maintenance of jobs, lots, projects, and operating units in Newstar ERP system

• Handle inquiries and issues related to financial reporting and automation

• Prepare and distribute lot inventory analysis report, interest reporting, cash reporting, and other related reports

• Conduct financial analysis to support balance sheet and P& L account reporting

• Ensure the confidentiality of the organization's financial information

• Perform treasury reporting and transaction duties as assigned

• Carry out bank reconciliation reporting and tracking

• Utilize data mining techniques to provide comprehensive financial analysis and reports

• Support auditing processes and capital management initiatives

• Maintain budget processes and ensure they align with the overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Proficient understanding and application of Data Mining Techniques

• Demonstrable experience in Auditing

• Comprehensive knowledge of Budgeting, Forecasting

• Proven skills in Financial Analysis, Inventory Analysis, Cash flow Analysis, Financial Reporting
