We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX.

Description:

This role is a key part of our master planning team, offering the chance to engage in the digital transformation of wastewater infrastructure planning, operation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our clients to undertake the following responsibilities:

· Development, calibration, and interpretation of wastewater collection system models

· Use models to understand wastewater collection system performance and help the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection system improvements and enhancements.

· Use models for master planning and conceptual studies.

· Engage in programming, statistical analysis, and data research.

· Analyzing, managing, and interpreting data using GIS software.

· Work to maintain and enhance cooperative partnerships with and between the client and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

· Display effective communication and people skills while working in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

  • Understanding of hydraulic systems and modelling concept and process.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively, both internally and externally.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

  • Experience of modeling software, such as InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, XP-SWMM.

  • Working knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS).

  • Experience of programming languages, such as Python, statistical analysis, and data research.

  • Experience of business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau.
