Description

Growing company in the Energy Corridor area is looking for an experienced Controller to lead their accounting and finance team and will report directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and maintain procedural documentation to standardize processes and facilitate training for team members.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance revenue recognition, billing, and AR processes to streamline operations and improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Implement technological solutions and ERP enhancements to automate tasks and enhance reporting capabilities.

• Provide accurate and timely monthly invoicing.

• Revenue and WIP analysis.

• Manage month end close processes for the Project accounting group and deadlines for billing/revenue.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis.

• Compliance and Audit Oversight.

Support external auditors during audits by providing documentation, explanations, and audit schedules related to Project Accounting and AR processes.

Must have a degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred with 10+ years’ experience in a supervisory role. Deltek experience and working in the Engineering or Construction industries highly preferred.
