Seeking Non-Profit Controller in Houston for governmental organization in Houston, TX. Excellent Benefits and Very Hybrid schedule!

Non-Profit Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, reporting

• Ensure compliance with regulations and non-profit standards

• Lead audit preparation and financial reviews

• Develop and maintain internal controls

• Manage grant accounting and reporting

• Conduct financial analysis for strategic planning

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team

• Develop financial policies and procedures

• Prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders

  Requirements

Non-Profit Controller Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred

Experience: 10+ years in accounting, with non-profit/governmental focus

Skills:

• Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment
