About the Job:

The role will cover Risk Management & Risk Compliance applications and reports. Helping to develop an understanding of our clients’ strategic direction, issues, and project goals. This position will help to grow the trading business and focuses on supporting the Risk Operations business with their efforts to fulfill requirements. Understanding consulting methodologies within the financial services or Energy industry.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between the current state and future state

  • Create business requirement documents (BRD’s)

  • Document and explain problems and work to resolve technical defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end-user satisfaction

  • Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness

  • Assist in conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries

  • Produce high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports) to effectively communicate project findings

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • Strong communication skills

  • 1-4 years of experience with an ETRM system, around trading and risk management. Experience with Profit & Loss, Price Exposure, Value-At-Risk, and reporting.

  • Knowledge with SDLC

  • Experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements and handling documentation.

  • Experience with data visualization, stored procedures, data modeling and table functions.

  • Experience with data analytics tools.

  • Management consulting experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the trade life cycle from initiation to completion

  • Ability to read and debug code

  • Experience with integration or middleware tools. Azure Data Factory or Qlik a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks

  • Experience with ERP systems.

  • Ability to lead a project, gather requirements and collaborate with end users. Work between IT and the business on project delivery.
