Superior Energy Services is currently seeking a CNC Programmer for our Completion's Office in Houston, TX .

As a CNC Programmer , you’ll be at the heart of turning customer visions into reality. Using your expertise, you’ll transform customer drawings and specs into precise CNC programs, routes, and tools designed to meet customer demands and deliver excellence on time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be proficient with Master-Cam programming software.
Fundamental understanding of all facets of manufacturing processes.
Maintains safety and environmental awareness at all times.
Machining experience on CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turns.
Ability to quote both cost and machining process times.
Must demonstrate servant attitude supporting shop floor team members by providing a complete, thorough, and stable process to manufacture components.
Understand the importance of high-quality products without compromising production.
Must demonstrate an ability to communicate with all areas of the company, including but not limited to management, Safety, Quality department, and Engineering.
Continually searching for ways to improve existing processes.
Must have a solid working knowledge of cutting tools and how to purchase them.
Must demonstrate a willingness to adjust priorities to accommodate changing requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized training in industrial applications is required.
Must be Mastercam Certified.
Must have experience in CNC Mill-turn machines.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Detailed knowledge of the operational capabilities of the specialized equipment and functional processes and procedures used in his area of responsibility.
Current practices and technology used in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge, competency, and experience in creating manufacturing routes and raw materials BOMs in D365 or similar software.
Knowledge relating to Oil and Gas services procedures and processes such as Material specifications, Quality plans, and standard operating procedures.
Ethical business practices.
Good verbal and written communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, internal or external.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Determining necessary resources, time, and materials for a project.
Planning and tracking project timelines.
