Responsibilities

About the role

Hybrid | Full-time

Ensure the Accurate and Timely posting of payments, maintaining a minimum level of unapplied payments.

• Accurately post customer payments to the accounting system in a timely manner

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash application and client accounts by proactively communicating with the Operations and Accounting teams.

• Communicate with clients to clarify payment details and obtain necessary information.

• Monitor and review unapplied cash balances.

• Generate and maintain reports of cash application activity and unapplied and unidentified cash.

• Process recurring credit card payments.

• Assist in the month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting

Qualifications

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

• 3 years + proven experience in cash applications

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel

• Experience and knowledge of full order to cash process.

• Strong attention to detail, with analytical, critical thinking and follow up.

• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.

• Customer-centric mindset with effective communication skills (verbal and written)

• The ability to quickly navigate several systems and spreadsheets in parallel.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• The ability to build and foster relationships across the organization.

Physical Demands

• Hybrid work environment

• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day, work in a standard office setting, and use standard office equipment, including a computer and a telephone.
