About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas - Houston Branch is seeking a self-motivated, versatile Cash Admin Associate III to perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts and financial statements and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.

You Will:

  • Perform daily independent proof verification to ensure all Cash processing teams transactions and settlement documents have been processed according to requirements. Ensure Cash Departments daily transactions processed are in balance and functions debits and credits entries as needed. Create and process statistical data to be transmitted to the Board of Governors.

  • Manage daily transaction activities for Cash Offsite Programs to ensure transactions were processed according to program requirements and function transactions as needed.

  • Review and process Cash deposits and order transactions, inputs the data in the Cash system and verifies output to ensure high quality and accuracy of the transactions.

  • Provide Cash Department support with customer outreach efforts and Cash Services quality concerns. Responds to inquiries by phone, in person or email from internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work as a team member in a team environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management, including participating in special Cash projects and workgroups.

You Have:

  • Above average knowledge, skills and abilities may be demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED

  • Minimum experience required of the position: Minimum two years of Cash operations or analytical experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), Outlook, Sharepoint, and other required databases.

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

  • May Travel 10%

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
