Schneider Electric Business Development Manager in Houston, Texas

We have the following position available in Houston, Texas:

Business Development Manager: S/he will sell defined products to U.S. based strategic accounts and engineering firm accounts. S/he will be responsible for managing strategic accounts for our field instrumentation portfolio, promoting our products and solutions to those accounts, focusing on the Headquarters, supporting channel partners and local sales teams with strategic plans, supporting meetings within local facilities, presenting our solutions and supporting any sales efforts with those. S/he will also be responsible for project pursuits in North America, focusing his activities on engineering companies (EPCs) in Texas, promoting our solutions through lunch and learns and presentations. 50% of travel in North America visiting clients. 100% Telecommuting. This position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and eight years of work experience in Instrumentation and Control. Also must have 8 years of work experience with: Field Instrumentation Expertise in Chemical, Oil and Gas Industry, covering Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream markets, including Custody Transfer and Wireless instrumentation; Application knowledge of process instrumentation in different markets, such as Upstream, Midstream and Downstream O&G, Water and Wastewater, Food & Beverages, among others, covering Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flowmeters; Application knowledge of analytical products (pH, Conductivity) in different markets, such as Water and Wastewater, Food and Beverages and O&G; U.S. standards for Hazardous Area and Custody Transfer, such as NEC, AGA, API and NTEP; and International standards for Hazardous Area and Custody Transfer, such as ATEX, IECEx, CSA and INMETRO.
