Jacobs Aviation Airfield Electrical Engineer - Remote in Houston, Texas

Here's What You'll Do: - Contribute to coordinating project assignments with other engineers and technicians from various discipline groups - Research design options and document findings - Attend meetings with clients and interacting with several key players in the industry #LI-remote

'- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry post graduate - Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills. - Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management. - Ability to work and thrive in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision. - Working knowledge of Word and Excel Ideally, You’ll Also Have: - Registration as a Professional Engineer, or the ability to successfully apply within 6 months of appointment for the role. - Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit - Knowledge of AGi32 or Visual Lighting Software - Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars - Familiarity with airfield lighting distribution, FAA NAVAIDS, power distribution systems, sustainability initiatives, telecommunication systems, emergency power or mission-critical systems - Experience utilizing SKM and ETAP and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
