Analyst, Systems - 000EVK Description Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. We are seeking a dedicated Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting off-the-shelf information systems and custom-written web applications. The candidate must be a great communicator and will work directly with business users while under minimal supervision. Responsibilities include: + Collaboration and Communication: Must effectively communicate and collaborate with peers and business users to gather, understand, and document business requirements. + Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to supported system configurations, networking problems, and performance bottlenecks. + Documentation: Help to create and maintain detailed documentation, including best practices, standard operating procedures, and architectural diagrams. Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: + Degree from an accredited college in computer science or related industry experience is required. + 3 years of supporting web-based applications/systems experience is required. + 3 years of experience writing code in a common scripting language like Shell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript is required. + 3 years of experience working with Windows Servers is required. + 2 years of experience working with prototyping/mockup tools is required. + 2 years of providing customer-facing support is required. + 2 years of working with a code repository tool like Git, GitHub, or Subversion is required. + 1 years of programming with a back-end language like C#, Python, or Java is preferred. + 1 years of experience with the Linux operating system is preferred. + 1 years supporting an off-the-shelf ERP system like Oracle, SAP or Helix is preferred.
