I. Job Summary

Recognized across the organization for business expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex business problem and the development of solutions for new business opportunities. Provides the high level of business expertise while conducting complex business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align business solutions with the company strategy and initiatives. Undertakes highly complex projects requiring additional specialized business knowledge and decision making that will influence others across the company to adopt newly re-engineered processes into Waste Management business units.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the assigned essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned, and duties may vary by department.

Strategic Vision & Leadership:

  • Collaborate with management and team leaders to contribute strategic vision and integrate a broad range of ideas regarding business solutions development.

  • Drive projects and the organization towards achieving business results by leveraging high-level expertise in business processes and systems analysis.

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate and integrate multiple enterprise solutions projects with large scope and complexity in a dynamic business environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals and deliverables.

  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress and results and the ability to gather feedback effectively.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders to capture business rules and process flows.

  • Analyze existing offline customer service processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.

  • Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.

  • Design and develop automated solutions to transition offline processes to online self-service platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, user-friendly, and align with business objectives.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor the performance of automated solutions and identify areas for continuous improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital transformation and customer service automation.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct reports, but may occasionally be responsible for delegating assignments and tasks on a project basis. Also, may be assigned coaching/mentoring tasks to help develop less experienced team members.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience

  • Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience (in addition to education requirement)

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • Preferred: PMI Certification.
