Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based in Houston, Texas. This role is within the industry and focuses on providing high-level administrative support to various teams and departments. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where organization and detail-orientation are key.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and maintain schedules and calendars

• Coordinate and plan large team gatherings, including meetings and catered events

• Handle confidential company information with utmost discretion

• Perform a range of administrative duties such as managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling mail

• Prepare and consolidate presentations and reports for management and external presentations

• Proactively assist in special projects in collaboration with various staff and departments

• Manage meeting requests, including creation and distribution of agendas, and meeting logistics

• Handle travel and scheduling for Director and team members

• Maintain and manage department team sites and team calendar

• Coordinate must be eligible to work in the U.S. benefits and conference registrations. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Ability to manage calendar schedules and plan meetings or events

• Experience in handling travel arrangements and transportation services

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information

• Skills in preparing presentations and spreadsheets

• Experience in workstation support and managing benefit functions

• Proficiency in leading special projects and making informed decisions

• Ability to handle onsite catering needs

• Experience in managing and reviewing agenda items

• Familiarity with consolidations and proficiency in related tasks

• Ability to support in scheduling tasks and events.
