A top company is looking for an Accountant in Houston, TX.

The role will be 90% remote but you must live locally to Houston to go into office when needed. M-F 8AM-5PM

If you are local to Houston and have experience with accounting, general ledgers and reporting please !

Duties:

This position includes preparing weekly and monthly corporate financial reporting, prepare and assisting with monthly journal entries and , weekly and monthly internal reports, performing internal audit and compliance testing, engaging and collaborating with finance team members to complete special projects and other duties as assigned

salary: $27.15 - $27.16 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• This position includes preparing weekly and monthly corporate financial reporting, prepare and assisting with monthly journal entries and, weekly and monthly internal reports, performing internal audit and compliance testing, engaging and collaborating with finance team members to complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Requirements include intermediate general ledger background from journal entries through financial statement preparation, strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) and education or experience to fulfill the essential functions and responsibilities with accounting/general ledger experience.
