Assembler: An assembler's job is to assemble products or parts of products in a production environment.

  • Read and understand Bill of Material, Blueprint, and tape measures up to 1/32"
  • Assemble parts or units based on provided Blueprints and Bill of Materials
  • Retrieve parts from various locations and bring them to the production line
  • Assemble units by hand or by using various hand or power tools
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specified by the company
  • Follow all company rules and polices as well as safety and quality standards
  • Work with other team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. This includes keeping production flowing through the line and balancing out the workload
  • Occasionally operate a rivet machine, small press or wire machine to produce quality parts
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
  • Keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with company standards
  • Perform a quality inspection based on the specifications provided
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work while standing or sitting for long periods of time
  • Lift 15 lbs from the floor on a regular basis and up to 60 lbs for some positions
  • Some products may require bending over to move from the line to the floor
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with quick changing priorities including working at different workstations as needed
  • Verbally communicate with other workers or supervisors
  • Use low torque hand air tools to do repetitive tasks
