Responsibilities: Understand and execute on export compliance and shipments. Lead shipping responsibilities and priorities in conjunction with the Materials Supervisor. Lead shipping metrics, including On Time Shipments. Receives all incoming material delivered to business unit and packages/ships all outgoing deliveries. Audits package lists for correct material and quantities. Inspects all material to ensure it meets quality standards. Handles return material and initiates repair/replace process. Prepares and ships all material for outgoing deliveries. Orders all packing material and crates for tools and spare parts. Interfaces with logistics to coordinate pick-ups. Performs all "outbound" transactions in SAP. Primary point of contact for hazmat disposal transportation and signs off on EPA forms. Decides best modes of shipments to be used on products to achieve optimal shipping costs/savings. Orders and manages logistical deliveries of shipping material (i.e., crates, containers, bubble wrap, foam, bags, etc.). Decides what shipping material to be used, determines most cost-effective means of transportation, and manages delivery of material.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 6+ years of export shipping/receiving/logistics experience in manufacturing environment is required. Forklift Certification and HAZMAT Handling Certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must have knowledge of packaging requirements Must possess mathematical and analytical skills Must have basic carpentry skills (to build shipping crates, containers, etc.) Basic computer skills and knowledge of ERP system Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work mandatory on-call, weekend rotational schedule (every 6 weeks)

The expected salary range for this position is $48,000 - 60,500 + bonus + benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
