IMMEDIATELY HIRING for skilled Refrigeration Technicians located near the Horsham, PA area for a FULL TIME opportunity with this manufacturing company. We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician with a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including low, medium, and high-temperature systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in brazing, silver soldering, soft soldering, pipe fitting, insulating, and leak testing. A certified refrigerant recovery card (EPC cert) and HVAC certification are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with production and engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met.

• Read and comprehend process flow and engineering schematics.

• Layout, cut, mount, and connect process piping using solder, brazing, and other methods.

• Fill process loops with specified gases or fluids.

• Cut, thread, and connect pipe to functional components and water or power systems on premises.

• Insulate piping, heaters, and various other system components.

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems.

• Certified refrigerant recovery cardholder (EPC cert).

• Proficiency in brazing, silver soldering, and soft soldering.

• Experience in pipe fitting, insulating, and leak testing.

• HVAC certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.

• Proficiency in running copper piping and PVC.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• 5-10 years of commercial HVAC experience.

• Mechanical inclination and general building ability.

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

• Willingness to grow and learn.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
