Duties:

• Evaluate complex electromechanical/electro-optical assemblies to the component level for the purpose of documenting the rework/repair instructions.

• Perform root cause failure analysis on defective product that is returned by the customer.

• Operate specialized test equipment used during the product evaluation.

• Load firmware using various programming tools

Qualifications:

• Associates of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology or relevant industry experience.

• Ability to test/troubleshoot PCBs to component level.

• Computer knowledge using a PC-based workstation

o CAD Viewer tools

o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

o Microsoft Windows OS environment

• Soldering experience and skill using common hand-held tools

• Experience with standard electronic laboratory test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, etc.)

• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

• IPC or J-STD knowledge a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $59000.00/yr.
