What you will do
Join our cause to build a world that's safe, comfortable and sustainable. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be part of our diverse distributed team, making an impact - helping clients imagine and build safer communities. In this role you will represent our Fire Life Safety Systems, growing partnerships with large existing and new accounts in multiple verticals. Selling sophisticated, products for our Fire Life Safety Systems.
How you will do it
Working in a culture of teamwork and flexibility, you'll collaborate with your peers, leaders, and internal partners (Operations and Engineering.) Providing input such as, market information relating to sales, competition and marketing strategies, vision and goals.
Drive wider and deeper account penetration with new and existing accounts, growing and maintaining positive relationships with all departments (facilities, loss prevention, IT, finance, and C-level executives) and key decision makers at multiple levels within customer organizations.
You'll do this through activities like developing sales leads, client solicitation, referrals, networking within local associations, attending trade shows.
Developing and maintaining relationships with Fire Life Safety Systems consultants and A&E firms
New construction marketplace (GC's, Electricians, Sub-contractors, etc)
Product manufacturers
Internal customers through collaborative efforts
Develop an aggressive methodology for the follow-up of all prospect communication and proposal generation
Able to convey technically sophisticated Fire Life Safety Systems and applicable services to our clients in an intelligent and eloquent, yet understandable manner; with an understanding of local codes including applicable labor environment.
Conducting physical surveys for your client's facilities, you'll identify the areas of Fire Life Safety Systems needs and concerns and assist in design of the Fire system
Prepares and presents sales presentation & proposals, translating features into benefits in a consultative and solution selling manner.
Maintains knowledge of products/services as it relates to customers' issues and needs through in-house training, networking and reading/research.
Maintains an ongoing and in-depth knowledge of the latest Fire Life Safety Systems.
What we look for
Required
Fire Life Safety Systems Industry Experience Required
Proven experience in Fire Life Safety Systems.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a successful sales representative in the Fire security, IT and/or other technology sa es industry 3 years of major accounts sales
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding a $1-3 million dollars in integrated security business.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls organizations.
Able to develop and cultivate effective internal and external relationships.
Must be action oriented with very strong inner drive, be business savvy, with the ability to work in a matrix organization.
Available for local/regional travel.
