Direct Hire Opportunity! Are you looking for a "sweet" new career and an opportunity to put both your people skills and mechanical knowledge to use? We are seeking Machine Operators to join our overnight team to lead processes, train new employees, and build a lasting career! This position provides a model in the company, expected to resolve complex problems as well as suggesting and implementing ideas for improvement. Serves as an active team member when is necessary, working with projects and training new people. The Senior Operator will be able to step into all roles within the Production department based on production needs.

salary: $45,760 - $49,920 per year

shift: Third

work hours: 6 PM - 6 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Verify all the operators set up the machine prior to the beginning and end of each shift.

• Inform QA technicians when every machine and the line is ready for the first evaluation.

• Maintain Operations

• Perform the change overs, coach new employees, develop and implement new process in the production area.

• Have the ability to assist with training

• Verify machine setup is correct

• Senior Operators will ensure all areas of production run smoothly in case of an absent Supervisor

• Ensure all equipment is clean at the end of each shift, along with all surrounding areas

• Demonstrates the ability to advocate for Safety in the workplace

• Able to read and understand production schedule, reports, and materials requirements

• Able to step into all roles within Production department based on production needs

• Assure that all the procedures are followed for clean area in the company. This includes Kitchen, Enrobing and Packaging.

• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, and properly put back together

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Follow all GMP'S

• All other duties assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills

• Machine Operation (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Troubleshooting (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Hand Tools

• Inspection

• Math and Calculation

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 3 years

• Experience level: Experienced
