HVAC MECHANICAL II
SUMMARY: Perform HVAC work station or line assembly operation to mass produce rail car components.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBIITIES-
Must have ability to perform all duties required in dismantling, repairing, rebuilding and installing all transit car HVAC, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Working knowledge of AC and AC components. Proficient in piping layout. Proficient in brazing. Able to do wire layout and termination. Proficient in reading drawings and blueprints. Must be skilled in the use of normal hand tools.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS-
The position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear. The possibility exists of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
