Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

This position entails a lot of welding on stainless steel - primarily MIG and Stick welding. You will perform mechanical troubleshooting on gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors in the production and processing of coal and coal coke. Maintenance on large industrial furnaces is also required.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.

Work Environment

1st shift Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM. Coal processing environment that mills down coal into a finer granular powder used to make car batteries and cell phone batteries. Uniforms, steel toe boots, hard hats, and safety glasses are provided.
