Adecco is assisting a local client in Hopkinsville, KY to fill several Carpenter positions. This is an immediate fill, temp to hire opportunity.

Pay Rate: $13.00 - $ 13.50

Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the repair and maintenance of the structures.

· Inform management of any critical maintenance repairs that need to be attended to.

· Review work priorities daily and ensure they are serviced each day.

· Inspect the building and grounds and perform routine maintenance.

· Ensure the facility is in safe condition for guests and employees.

· Performs structural work in the construction and repair of buildings, furniture, doors, windows, walls, floors, ceiling, roof, cabinetry, etc.

· Renovate structures and interiors.

· Installs and repairs linoleum, floor tiles and carpets.

· Finishes carpentry work through sanding, painting, varnishing, etc.

· Builds an repairs auxiliary equipment such as fencing, signs, ramps, gates, guttering, etc.

· Operates and services saws, planes, drills, jointers, and hand tools.

· Provides assistance in other skilled trade areas.

· Interprets blueprints and construction drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, training and/or experience which would clearly demonstrate the essential functions, knowledge and skills listed.

Ability up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift. Must be able to climb, reach, bend, and stoop.

Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Assist in the security of the resort for the safety of the guests and employees. Comply with fire, health, and safety regulations.
