\ Position Overview\ Function as part of a safe and environmentally sound manufacturing team in the production of Formaldehyde, Resin, and Wax, including all shipping activities described\ by policies, procedures, production standards and product specifications. Participates in safety committees.

Job Responsibilities\ Safety

  • Follows safe work practices as specified in the Hexion Safety Manual
  • Participates in safety audits, training, hazard analyses, inspections, etc.
  • Ensures that unsafe conditions are fixed in a timely manner
  • Communicates all incidents /emergencies to supervision
  • Maintains housekeeping in all areas worked.

Quality

  • Rigorously follows manufacturing procedures to ensure product is produced within specification and makes suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Participates in the investigation of quality incidents and follows protocol to prevent recurrence.
  • Performs in process quality control tests while production is under way.

Environmental Protection

  • Rigorously follows environmental policies and practices and promptly reports an environmental incident.

\ Production

  • Responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of all production and shipping processes.
  • Follow loading checklist recording all required information for tracking and record keeping.
  • Creates Work Orders and performs Operator PMs to ensure equipment is kept in good operating condition with minimum downtime.
  • Assists in management and control of inventory of raw material and finished product.
  • Perform real-time data entry into SAP, sign out drivers, supply placards as required, prepare shipping document packets for drivers.
  • Able to work OT.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Chemical Handling
  • Forklift Operator
  • Understanding of Process Equipment
  • Good trouble shooting skills
