Job Summary
The Program Manager - IT Vendor Management is a key role within the IT department. The Program Manager - IT Vendor Management will be responsible for creating and implementing a vendor management program to be used for negotiating new contracts including, but not limited to software publishers, cloud providers, and third-party implementation partners. This role will be instrumental in establishing a contract repository, maintaining the vendor catalog, performing audits to assess the usage/performance of vendors, tracking budgets and spend, onboarding new vendors, and offboarding existing vendors.
The Program Manager - IT Vendor Management will report to the Director of PMO and IT Communications and is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Work with IT teams to reduce their risk of a software audit and mitigate the risk of non-compliance
Work with IT Leadership to structure and negotiate with Tier 1 software vendors including Microsoft, Oracle and IBM on the following:
Cost reduction strategies
Increased discount negotiations
Reduction in the number of contracts with a single vendor
Consolidation, review, and/or re-negotiation of contracts to ensure improved alignment with IT’s near and long terms plans
Re-alignment of IT’s vendor relations and contracts following mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures to obtain optimal results
Review and re-negotiation of contracts to ensure that existing contract portfolios remain relevant to both IT and SHI
Engage with other SHI departments to collaborate in the delivery of integrated services
Attend, support, and represent SHI at conferences and events including industry events, SHI Summits and Webinars
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing vendor contracts
Minimum 3 years’ program management experience

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous experience using the ServiceNow platform is a plus
Unique Requirements
- Position requires up to 25% travel on an as-needed basis
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
