Description

We are inviting applications for the position of Sr. Accountant with room for growth into an Accounting Manager. This role involves a variety of complex accounting and financial reporting duties within our organization. The successful candidate will not only oversee financial processes, but also contribute to the development of financial strategies and methodologies. Responsibilities

• Oversee financial processes to ensure the timeliness and quality of financial reports

• Perform advanced-level accounting functions including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, intercompany and balance sheet accounts

• Conduct consolidated and bank reconciliations, budgeting, and monthly forecasts

• Carry out and organize financial analysis projects and statistical studies

• Identify, research, investigate, and problem-solve account and reporting issues

• Supervise and train junior accountants, review their work for accuracy

• Regularly enhance accounting system, procedures and policies

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting principles

• Assist with tax preparation and audits

• Collaborate with other departments, management, and external partners to provide financial information as required.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accountant

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger maintenance and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Proven experience in carrying out Month End Close processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with accounting software and applications

• Must adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
