• Current Cyber Security Workforce certification at the journeyman level to qualify for a Privileged Access Account.

Desired Skill Requirements:

• Ten (10)years of experience in design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software applications development.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Java, C++, and C#, developing .NET and Java web applications and services, developing SQL Server databases, Git and workflows, Visual Studio, NetBeans, Eclipse, Cygwin, Python and/or Fortran.
• Computer operating system commercial certifications.

Job Duties:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Education/Equivalent:

Bachelor's degree is desired. Travel Required:

Travel and underway time onboard a U.S. Navy ship, submarine of aircraft may be required.
