ICF Consulting Group, Inc. On-Call Bilingual Training and Technical Assistance Consultant in Honolulu, Hawaii

ICF seeks an on- call Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) Consultant to provide high quality training and technical assistance (T/TA) that improves the quality of early childhood programs to meet or exceed quality standards.

The T/TA Consultant will work with diverse early childhood programs to provide customized support to empower early childhood programs to hands on TTA to early education classrooms customized support to empower classroom teams to meet and surpass program requirements and to experience professional success. The T/TA Consultant will employ coaching, researched-based environmental assessment tools, outcome driven techniques, and overall management coordination and communication to build the team and ensure program achievements and milestones. Additional duties include maintaining on-going communication, developing reports, individualized and quality improvement plans to ensure high quality services are being provided.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to early childhood education from an accredited university or college.

  • 3 years experience in provision of training and technical assistance and consultation with teachers and directors to improve the effectiveness and quality of classroom quality.

  • Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation, CLASS and applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.

  • Experience with project management, Early Childhood Education, and knowledge and experience working with children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.

  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Speaks Spanish fluently

    Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in a field related to early childhood education from an accredited university or college.

  • Experience in a leadership position within an early childhood program.

  • Knowledge of DC Early Learning Standards.

  • Experience providing training at State, Regional, or National Meetings and technical assistance to individual organizations preferred.

    Professional Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong facilitation and conflict management skills.

  • Team player with the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver results.

  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively and be able to work with complex and sensitive information.

  • Ability to think analytically, define and thoroughly document tasks, conceptualize, plan, and complete major elements of project work.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent presentation skills; small and large group trainings.
