Work you'll do
Plan, coordinate and execute component participation in assigned Joint Chiefs of Staff and service exercises.
Develop training objectives in conjunction with exercise participants and staff stakeholders.
Draft and develop realistic threat scenarios, incorporating best-practice inputs from DoD and other agencies.
Coordinate and manage exercise development in conjunction with the DoD and theater service component planners and participants.
Ensure component exercises inform the Defense Readiness Reporting System and fully incorporate the Joint Lessons Learned system.
Assist in management of the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and other exercise information management systems.
Enhance the command's capability to train and prepare for a broad spectrum of threats from real and/or simulated adversaries.
Coordinate exercise criteria that will test and stress the command's training objectives.
Consolidate and draft Exercise Summary Reports (ESR) related to exercise objectives, training objectives, and future design modifications.
Coordinate and develop after action reports (AARs) that meet exercise requirements

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance is required to be considered for this role
4+ years of exercise planning experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) exercise planning or scenario planning activities
Work is performed in Honolulu, Hawaii
Preferred:
Military experience in exercise planning, scenario planning, wargaming, and training, with executing multinational exercises
Experience in developing comprehensive military training material, establishing performance metrics
Experience coordinating training and exercises with other U.S. government agencies and foreign militaries
Experience in designing and facilitating military training programs and courses to support mission readiness and enhance interoperability
Experience analyzing, recommending, and implementing technology or tools to enhance the training experience
In-depth knowledge or understanding of Combined, Joint, or Service-level Doctrine and Operational Plans

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
