Job Purpose: The Asset/Liability Supervisor will lead a team responsible for overseeing the asset/liability management (ALM) process, ensuring accurate financial analysis of the bank's balance sheet, profitability, and interest rate risk. This role demands a proactive, analytical leader capable of maintaining the integrity of the banks interest rate risk model and supporting the overall Treasury function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review the ALM process, ensuring model integrity and accurate financial analysis.
- Prepare and communicate ALCO reports, providing guidance on interest rate risk and stress test reporting.
- Collaborate on strategic planning and budgeting with AL Manager and Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare ALM reporting for filings.
- Approve reconciliation reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Support Treasury team objectives and assist with special projects.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or related quantitative fields from an accredited 4-year university required.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in the relevant field.
- Supervisory or Team Lead experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation:
Location: Honolulu, In office Estimated $70,000 - $95,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
