Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the Finance industry. As the Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with various responsibilities revolving around account reconciliation, handling accounts payable and receivable, billing, data entry, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately

• Manage and execute account reconciliation tasks

• Handle accounts payable and receivable operations effectively

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Oversee billing processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy of inputted information

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and data management

• Involved in the processing of invoices, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing processes

• Competent in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field would be advantageous.
