About the Role:

1. As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining office MEP facilities and equipment for the 5 to 6 sites around Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

2. Work 5 days a week, Mon to Sat, 09:00 to 18:00. Working overtime is expected and will be recovered by time-in-lieu or overtime pay.

3. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, daily rounds, general ironmongery, door, window blind, workstations, chairs break and fix, function area set up, onsite supervision, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

1. Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other office facilities.

2. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

3. Supervise the installation and modification of MEP equipment and systems.

4. Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.

5. Support energy management by ensuring all MEP systems are operating efficiently.

6. Support facility manager for MEP equipment compliance with building codes and safety regulations, e.g. WR2, annual FS cert, etc.

7. Prepare MEP equipment maintenance report based on the maintenance checklist.

8. Use of smart facility management tools for deploying WO, reporting.

9. Prepare work schedule for each site.

10. Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

11. Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

12. Impact the quality of own work.

13. Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

14. Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need:

1. Trade school diploma with 15-20 years of technician experience, in which 5 years of senior technician experience.

2. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/platform ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 25 lbs.

3. Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

4. Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

5. Work with a team and escalate to your manager when things are foreseen beyond control.

6. knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

7. Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
