Johnson Controls Assistant Sales Manager, HVAC/Chiller in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

What you will do

You will join the HVAC sales team in Hong Kong. You will monitor and supervise sales activities and help to achieve yearly sales target, ensure the design specification of HVAC Retrofit are within project scope and comply with the requirements of local authorities and clients.

How you will do it

  • Support the team to work with clients, consultants and contractors to get the Retrofit, Fitting out or Installation Service contracts for HVAC market in Hong Kong

  • Develop HVAC base and energy improvement solution to support client and consultant on building systems

  • Achieve annual sales target in accordance with Company’s objectives and direction, evaluate tender estimates on secured contracts so as to employ the most cost effective means to fulfill contractual obligations.

  • Liaise with Company’s sales personnel to ensure minimum lead time for contract execution and material ordering

  • Supervise Retrofit sales team and be responsible of overall planning on sales activities, tendering and negotiation process, marketing, and promotional functions

  • Ensure quality of work to the satisfaction of customers and meet the Company’s goal and achieve satisfactory levels of productivity, efficiency and effective results

  • Direct and lead Retrofit sales teams on design work, tendering, and assist site supervision and project management of HVAC system and other building services related systems, including after-sales services and trouble-shooting

  • Liaise with customers and attend meetings with customers or customers’ representatives, follow up proactively on any customers’ requirement

  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the completed contracts, maintain a positive, supportive and hospitable attitude so as to develop and influence customers to maintain a long-term service relationship

    What we look for

    Required

  • Degree holder or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years’ HVAC related sales experience, of which at least 1-2 years at a managerial capacity

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

  • Experienced in escorting customer trip to factory for product quality assurance test

  • Effective project execution skill including cash flow planning and project monitoring

  • Strong selling, influencing and negotiation skills plus excellent interpersonal skill at all levels

  • Independent, resourceful, strategic-thinking and able to work under pressure
