Position:

Accounting Manager

Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager in Hong Kong, you will gain great exposure in handling finance and accounting operations and liaise with different finance stakeholders within the Asia Pacific region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform day to day financial operations, such as review of purchase & CAPEX requisitions, payment authorizations

• Responsible for month closing activities, such as review of journal entries and income statement fluctuation analysis

• Conduct review of account reconciliations and financial reporting and analysis completed by General Ledger accounting staff

• Responsible for cost accounting & inventory management

• Intercompany recharge and reconciliations

• Coordinate with business units and departments on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

• Support Treasury team on cash flow forecast and FOREX management

• Work with Tax team on tax related matters and tax filing

• Liaise with auditors on SOX and statutory audits

• Support and/or participate in special projects.

• Acts as functional expert with other departments on complex day-to-day functions of the department.

• Demonstrates an understanding of various accounting processes and identify root causes and areas for improvements and implements solutions.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 8 years of related experience

• Multinational exposure with business acumen in dealing different level of people within the organization

• Experience in Oracle is an advantage

• Big 4 audit experience is preferable

• Immediately available is an advantage

• Proactive with teamwork mindset
