This position is open to application by those 18 years of age or older. Experience is preferred but not required - we will teach you!
Learn and assist with the entire production process under the training of the company founders in a small batch commercial kitchen environment. As much an art as it is a science, you will work with a team and learn all aspects of turning simple ingredients into shelf-stable, high quality, old-school-style fruit preserves.
Production team work involves product preparation, following process formulations, cooking, packaging, record-keeping and cleaning. Candidates should be available to work Mondays through Fridays, between 9 am - 5 pm, and have the following attributes:
Reliable Able to work cooperatively with others Positive & encouraging to others Able to lift 30-50 pounds, repeatedly Able to stand for extended periods of time Cleanliness Detail-oriented If you have experience working in farming, food production, canning, cooking, baking, manufacturing, etc - please be sure to mention it in your application.
