Clean Harbors Director of Sales in HOME, Washington

The Director of Sales is responsible for creating and implementing the sales strategy developed by the company programs, bringing best practices to sales personnel across the region and driving growth within the Field Services segment. The Director of Sales will also be responsible for leading district sales managers to increase the customer base by implementing strategic plans that include identifying, engaging and supporting new and existing business.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

  • Promote revenue and margin growth w/in assigned accounts

  • Assist in leading strategic direction and growth of the business unit and implementing new strategic initiatives.

  • Direct corporate sales activities by identifying market potential, establishing pricing strategies

  • Assess the market competitiveness of Field Services LOB and define improvement initiatives (e.g. service, pricing, etc.)

  • Work closely with corporate and regional areas to establish successful support, channel and partner programs

  • Collaborate with operations leaders and other LOB sales management to drive cross selling initiatives and improve customer service

  • Exemplary communication & leadership acumen

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Ability to use sophisticated numerical analyses to drive decision making

  • 50% - 75% Travel w/in the West Region

  • Does the position have supervisory authority? Yes

  • Positions Supervising: Field Services District Sales Manager

  • Experience:10 to 15 years

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Communications/Science/Engineering/Related

  • Pay range: $130K-$160K
