DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2, you will supervise, manage, and direct the activities of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. This includes overseeing a shift, as well as participating in various sales activities such as receiving shipments, stocking products, and providing exceptional service to customers in a clean and safe store environment. Additionally, you will assign and supervise the work of Liquor Store employees and provide guidance on the proper application of policies and procedures. Other duties you will be responsible for include, but are not limited to the following: Taking inventory of merchandise and stocking shelves Performing opening and closing procedures according to established protocols Counting money and ensuring cash amounts are accurate at the start and conclusion of each shift Utilizing the cash register, POS system, scanners, card swipes, and other equipment Ensuring licensee orders are properly rung and that staff assist in loading their merchandise

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 75-hours bi-weekly Work hours vary between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday. Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; or Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or Two years of lead retail sales work.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
