Aqua Blue Pools of Charleston, Inc. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in fleet management to oversee the comprehensive maintenance and repair program for our 100 company vehicles. Your keen eye for both functional and aesthetic aspects, coupled with leadership skills, will play a pivotal role in establishing and enforcing standards for the appearance of our construction, service, and maintenance vehicles and major construction equipment. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5+ Years of relevant experience in operations, fleet management, and equipment management required

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations that govern maintenance operations related to fleet vehicles and construction equipment for safety protocols and potential job hazards

  • Incredibly detail-oriented with a keen eye for trends and opportunity areas

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Google/Microsoft Office suite, heavy use of Sheets/Excel

  • Must be self-motivated and driven once given guidance and instruction

  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new programs/websites

  • Strong sense of priorities when performing daily tasks

  • Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Your keen eye for both functional and aesthetic aspects, coupled with leadership skills, will play a pivotal role in establishing and enforcing standards for the appearance of our service and construction fleet vehicles and construction equipment.

  • Join us in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety in our service and construction vehicles and make a meaningful impact in a critical operational role.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for over 100 company vehicles.

  • Conduct regular inspections and manage preventive maintenance, addressing both functional and cosmetic aspects.

  • Ensure reliability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of all company vehicles and equipment including exterior and interior components.

  • Implement and oversee a closed-loop process for repairs, verifying functionality and appearance.

  • Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs, emphasizing visual aesthetics and proper documentation.

  • Monitor fleet maintenance budgets, ensuring costs are within budget and tracking maintenance expenses.

  • Oversee the repairs and preventative maintenance of all construction equipment.

  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all the company vehicles are in working order, clean, and well-organized.

  • Implement and manage a closed-loop process for equipment repairs.

  • Maintain accurate records of company vehicle and equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements, with a focus on closed-loop documentation.

  • Implement and enforce standards for the visual presentation of company vehicles and equipment.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to design and implement visual improvements.

  • Oversee the cleaning and detailing of vehicles,, ensuring a professional and polished look.

  • Establish and monitor a closed-loop process for visual enhancements and repairs, ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for fleet and equipment maintenance.

  • Lead procurement efforts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with supply and service vendors.

  • Supervise the team, providing guidance and training on both functional and visual aspects of equipment and vehicles.

  • Encourage and enforce a closed-loop communication process within the team, ensuring feedback on repairs and improvements is shared and acted upon.
