JOB DESCRIPTION -ROWE WIRE MACHINE OPERATOR

1. GENERAL - The Wire Machine Operator reports to the Rowe Production Manager and performs duties associated with the safe and proper operation of the wire extrusion machinery in production. The duties include, but are not limited to;
   1. Setup, startup, and operation of rubber extrusion machines
   2. Inventory control functions
   3. Inspection of manufactured goods for adherence to specifications
   4. Utility duties such as packaging and rewinding of wire
2. Position requirements for Wire Machine Operator
   1. The position does require some lifting and manual positioning
   2. The position is in an industrial environment / setting
   3. No previous experience is necessary and candidates will be trained on the proper use of machinery, however experience with hand tools is highly preferred
   4. The position does require the use of measuring tools and visual inspection
   5. The position does require legible handwriting
