Level II cable technicians needed for a major stuctured cabling project in Holly Springs, NC

NO TRAVEL REQUIRED!!!

Level 2 techs (6 months to 2 years of low voltage, cabling, fiber, HVAC, or electrical experience) - $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. No weekends required.

Job Description:

Our client needs 6 techs to pull and terminate Cat5/6 cable and/or fiber for a major structured cabling project in Holly Springs. Techs will be paid between $17-$22 per hour, depending on experience. Terms of the contract are 6 months, with the ability to extend, or even convert permanently with the client after the 6 month window. This is a new construction job that will require techs to wear steel toed boots and use PPE (the client will provide the PPE).

The mid level tech will need steel toed boots, a punchdown tool with 66 and 110 blades, snipes, and knife. They will be running the cable, hanging using J hooks, and working with a lead level tech.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Customer facing skills will be highly desired. They need to be presentable, articulate, and able to work in a team environment. All techs must have a willingness to work hard and learn the methods of the client.
