What You'll Do

As an Operator Machinist, you be part of our Machine Operator team located in Holliston, MA. You'll get to:

• Read and interprets blueprints checking parts to print to ensure that parts are manufactured to the specifications. Reviews and interprets job aids and shop orders.

• Uses measuring instruments such as verniers and gauges, to measure material, make necessary adjustments to ensure quality parts.

• Operates hand tools in order to make adjustments for set up.

• Selects correct tooling, ensures correct open height tonnage and weld settings, cleans tooling, and adjusts as needed. These activities may be performed up to 10 times per day.

• Performs math calculations to correctly setup machine.

• Reads, interprets, and completes routine paperwork, records proper information to ensure accuracy of inventory.

Who You Are

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and communicate clearly.

• 3-5 years of related experience operating production machinery such as press brakes, punch presses, spot welders, shears, and gas welding and MIG welding

• Experience using verniers and depth gauges.

• Blueprint reading experience required.
