DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position serves as the training liaison for the agency by mentoring, training, and shadowing staff via charting the course or supervisory training series modules. You will coordinate and establish schedules for newly hired staff to shadow and train beside seasoned caseworkers. This includes participating in interviews and the selection of new hires.

Through your work you will model the agency's mission, vision, and values and share information about these ideals through events and trainings with the community, relaying vital information back to the agency. This involves travelling to attend committees and meetings as well as overnight travel and attendance at local, state, and regional trainings. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Supervisor Emergency Duty Coverage, as scheduled. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional level experience in the field of children, youth and families; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
