Off Shift Sr Process Technician, Holland, MI.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Process Technician to lead our operations in a modern plastic injection molding facility. There are openings on 2nd and 3rd shift, the pay range will be $28-32+/hour based off experience. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our new injection molding machines and requires a high level of expertise and leadership. The facility is clean and housed with all new plastic injection machines up to 1400 tons.

• Lead the off-shift operations and execute work orders.

• Determine schedules for the shift and ensure production levels are met.

• Perform start-ups and shutdowns of plastic injection machines, including color changes and troubleshooting.

• Handle material movement using a hi-lo, including moving raw materials to machines and finished products to the shipping area.

• Collaborate with the operations manager for any performance issues.

• Ensure minimal overtime, primarily on Fridays if necessary.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding.

• Proficiency in starting up and shutting down machines.

• Experience in leading a shift and managing production schedules.
