Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Controls Engineer. This position will be located near Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Controls Engineer will develop and design control systems for various material handling equipment.

The salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $100K, plus other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:

• Develop and design control systems for material handling equipment

• Design and program logic for PLCs, drive systems, and control systems

• Design databases and write custom computer programs for PLC and SCADA system interface

• Apply standard procedures to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, diagnose and resolve issues
