Job Title: Civil Project Engineer

Job Description

The Civil Project Engineer will join the Land Development Group in Holland, MI. The Civil Project Engineer will work on local civil engineering projects and support project managers for responsibilities including civil site design, planning, and construction permitting. They will be involved in a variety of local projects such as infrastructure, commercial development, private development, industrial, and municipalities. The position will involve providing technical support, civil design, and assistance in project management.

Responsibilities:

• Civil site design including site grading, storm water drainage, sewer, roadway design, utility sizing

• Support for construction permitting

• Communicate with clients and local agencies

• Coordinate with project managers and engineering team members

• Assist with project schedule and budget

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

• EIT/FE working toward PE license or Licensed PE

• 2+ years of experience in civil design for land development/site development

• 1+ years of experience using Civil 3D for civil projects

Nice to have:

-PE License

-Masters in Civil Engineering

-Experience with projects for municipalities and local agencies

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Holland, Michigan.

Work Environment

Office located in Holland, MI. Will work 40-45 hours per week M-F. Will have a minimum of 10 PTO days per year and 8 paid Holidays.
