Our facility is one of the largest behavioral health hospitals in the country and offers specialized services for mental health and substance abuse problems
Work Schedule: 9:00pm - 7:30am (including every other weekend on Fri & Sat)
(4:10 hr shifts)
Location: Alexian Bros Behavioral Health Hospital, Hoffman Estates
& occasionally at the hospital site in Elk Grove Village, IL

What You Will Do
In the role of Intake Specialist, you will conduct interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions.
Provide admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
Admit patients to the hospital and register outpatients with appropriate physician orders or transfers to another facility.
Document calls and related admission information.
Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence with hospital and regulatory policies.
May staff a crisis hotline.
What You Will Need
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field is highly preferred
