Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart Commerce Technologies (WCT) is a new start up within Walmart Global Tech commercializing internally developed technologies and offering it to external companies. The Director - Technology Commercialization Client Implementations and Delivery will be responsible for leading the implementation of our SaaS products for our clients . The Director will oversee a team of Client delivery managers , technology consultants, and implementation managers to ensure successful planning, execution and delivery

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dev elop ment and execut ion of the a portfolio of customer implementations ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets and build in continuous improvement processes .

• Lead the tech discovery process, to un derstand client requirements and business processes to tailor the implementation strategy accordingly.

• Provide technical consulting to the client to enable successful implementation and delivery

• Collaborat e with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and support, to ensure a smooth implementation.

• Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns, and providing proactive communication throughout the implementation process.

• Manag e and mentor the SaaS implementation team s that drives planning, prioritization, and implementation of projects.

• Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized project management framework and consistent project management methodology .

• Manag e client relationships and escalations in an important governance role on key projects.

Minimum qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record of success in planning, executing, and delivering complex SaaS implementation projects.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

• The ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, information systems, mathematics, business, or related area and 6 years' experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.

Option 2: 8 years' experience in software engineering, consulting, DevOps, or related area.

3 years' supervisory experience

Master's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or related area and 4 years' experience in Enterprise Design, Implementation, or Consulting., Prior work experience in the technical integrations between SAP, Workday, etc. and third-party applications., Prior work experience using technology packages such as SAP, Workday, Infor, and Coupa based on business requirements., Prior work experience writing functional specifications and test scripts., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
