Walmart Connect is Walmart's media and advertising platform, uniquely designed to help brands reach hundreds of millions of shoppers across their entire shopping journey, online and in stores. As a fast-growing brand and business within Walmart, the Fortune 1 company, we are poised for continued growth and success among advertisers, including non-endemic brands. Non-endemic brands promote products and/or services that aren't sold at Walmart stores but are relevant to our customers' needs, such as Financial Services, Auto, QSR, Travel, etc.

We're looking for a B2B media ad sales marketer with a focus in one of these categories: Financial Services, Insurance, or Auto to join Non-Endemic Enterprise Sales Marketing. Our team is comprised of marketers who strategize, activate, measure, and optimize non-endemic cohort initiatives that persuade marketers and media buyers to make Walmart Connect a must buy platform for their media plans, ultimately accelerating advertising revenue growth for Walmart Connect.

Harness your strategic intelligence, digital media acumen, knowledge of Walmart's non-endemic business sectors, and creativity in lockstep with Non-Endemic Enterprise Sales Marketing leadership to develop and execute non-endemic marketing strategies by writing compelling content, developing sales enablement and L&D materials, and creating project plans, goals, KPIs, and success metrics for non-endemic marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Non-Endemic Sales team and cross-functional teams, such as Product Marketing, Agency Partnerships, Research & Analytics, Brand Marketing and Events to drive non-endemic advertiser growth

o Tactical elements may include, but are not limited to, creating non-endemic audience narratives using PowerPoint and collateral, scripting non-endemic event and webinar materials, developing non-endemic case studies and newsletter content, and operationalizing marketing plans

• Demonstrate your marketing savvy and autonomy by owning non-endemic marketing projects end-to-end (strategy, project timelines, execution, measurement, optimization) with Non-Endemic Enterprise Sales Marketing leadership's support and cross-functional inputs

• Showcase your storytelling prowess by developing and scaling narratives that demonstrate how Walmart Connect solves challenges for non-endemic advertisers

• Develop non-endemic marketing strategies and scripts for advertiser- and agency-driven speaking engagements and industry event panels, prep Walmart Connect speakers for said event engagements, support event activations, and measure success

• Contribute to the success of Non-Endemic Enterprise Sales Marketing by helping the team achieve OKRs within budgetary and timeline scope while ensuring projects support the broader business objectives of the Non-Endemic Sales team and Walmart Connect

• Work with Non-Endemic Enterprise Sales Marketing leadership, Biz Ops, and Marketing Operations to build a strong operational foundation that supports future scale

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in B2B media ad sales, non-endemic categories, digital ad sales marketing, retail media, eCommerce, or agency strategy

• Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills that encourage cross-functional teamwork and strategic thinking

• A proven track record and passion for:

o Creating persuasive narratives utilizing PowerPoint

o B2B marketing strategies

o Non-endemic category marketing

o Narrative development for non-endemic audiences

o Sales enablement plans

o Speech writing and speaker preparations

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced matrixed environment with effective time management skills

• Ability to use research and insights to craft compelling non-endemic narratives

• Proactive, flexible, and willingness to pitch in as Walmart Connect continues to rapidly scale and evolve

• Ability to understand complex business operations and drive efficiencies through process improvements

• Detail-oriented and organized, with an appreciation for trackers and process documents

• Ability to communicate and operationalize strategy

• Financial Services content marketing experience preferred

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279/Los Angeles, California US-10988:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
